Hey everyone! My name is Abigail McDonald. I am a fourth-year student at the University of Georgia and am on track to graduate in May 2026. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion with a minor in Global Health. I’m especially interested in how we can use education, prevention, and policy to improve long-term health outcomes in communities.
Throughout my time at UGA, I’ve had the opportunity to take courses and work on projects related to public health, chronic disease prevention, and health behavior change. These experiences have helped me build a strong foundation in program planning, health communication, and conducting needs assessments. I’m excited to keep developing these skills as I move into my professional career.
Outside of school I love to go thrifting, go on walks with my friends, and explore new coffee shops and local spots. I’m also always down for a good concert or a last-minute day trip.
On this site, you’ll find some of my academic work, projects, and experiences that reflect who I am as both a student and a future health professional.
